Workshop on Consulting and Building a Digital Transformation Roadmap

On September 6, 2022, at New World Saigon Hotel, Southern Gas Trading Joint Stock Company (Gas South) held the Kick-off Ceremony of the project "Consulting & Building a Roadmap for Digital Transformation" and a seminar “Sharing Orientation to implement Digital Transformation” at Gas South under the cooperation with FPT Digital Consulting Company. The event was attended directly by nearly 100 employees of the Company's office block, mid-level and higher managers of the Units, and online to branches and member companies.

The event marks a new beginning when the whole of Gas South will officially join the digital revolution with the companionship of FPT Digital, a pioneer of digital transformation under FPT Corporation.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luan - General Director of Gas South, shared the goals and orientation of the Digital Transformation process, emphasizing the strategy and investment in human resources, which is towards the company's sustainable development goals. He affirmed that participating in the digital revolution will be a breakthrough in combining human capabilities with advanced technologies, which will help Gas South improve in all aspects to promote more robust growth.

Within the framework of the event, Mr. Dang Van Vinh - Deputy General Director of Gas South, Head of the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation, had a couple of messages to all employees of the Company: “I believe that with its dynamism, creativity, and sensitivity to science and technology, Gas South is expected to be one of the leading units in digital transformation. I hope all officers and employees can absorb and become more creative, quickly adapting to new conditions. Most importantly, always desire to contribute and dedicate to the common development of the Company.”

In the implementation of digital transformation, the Gas South Board of Directors always upholds the proactive and leading role of the youth union force in Gas South, considering this as the core force in popularizing and promoting the process of digital transformation, develop action programs on digital transformation, carry out propaganda activities to raise awareness of all Gas South employees about digital transformation, actively use conversion applications numbers in production and business. With dynamism, creativity, and sensitivity to science and technology, being the most accessible and receptive force to innovations, the Gas South Youth Union will strive to promote the spirit of creativity, mastery of technology, encourage research, have many creative solutions in digital transformation at the unit, contributing to successful digital transformation throughout the Company.

Also, within the framework of the seminar, experts from FPT Digital: Mr. Vuong Quan Ngoc - Project Manager, and Ms. Tran Minh Nguyet - Digital Transformation Consulting Project Manager for Gas South, shared the scope, plan, and coordination of the consulting project as well as share concepts, methods, stories about the application of digital transformation technology in the world, crucial digital transformation platforms including transforming human resources and building a solid IT system. Therefore, Gas South's Board of Directors and FPT Digital experts help the Company's staff understand digital transformation and the benefits of using and mastering technology.

After this seminar, leaders and managers at Gas South will become those who understand and pioneer, spread and inspire all employees in the Company, ready and engaged to participate in the process of building a digital transformation roadmap and implementing digital transformation, bringing optimization in operations not only at the employee's unit but also contributing to the success of the whole organization.
