On August 24th, 2023, Southern Gas Trading Joint Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as “Gas South”) solemnly organized the Launching Ceremony for “Data storage & Operation Management Report – 1st stage” project (DX01 project). This project is one of the chain projects with the goals to conduct digital transformation to the entire Company.
Attending the Ceremony, there are representatives of the Company’s Board of Management, Heads of Departments/ Subordinate units/ members and individuals related to the projects from all top branches. List of participants also includes specialists, consultants and Board of Management’s representatives from TC DATA – project developer, Microsoft Vietnam – solutions and data infrastructures supplier and FPT Digital – project’s supervisor consultant.
In Vietnam, Gas South is known as one of the edge companies in the gas industry which has its operating areas expanding all along the country, from Nghe An province to Ca Mau province. With the diversity in products and sectors, Gas South has been trying to carry out the methods that increase data connection ability, integration and data mining in order to create the advanced, transparent and flexible data management system where the Board of Management can receive the accurate, in-time and practical reports on their business and operation situation. Through studies, survey and assessment of solutions providers, Gas South preferred TC DATA Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as TC DATA) to be their partner, whose experiences, forces and solutions satisfied all the conditions to implement DX01 project.
Sharing his opinion at the Ceremony, Mr. Dang Van Vinh, Deputy Director, Head of Digital Transformation Committee of Gas South pointed out: Gas South hopes that DX01 sub-Committee members will fully cooperate with TC Data to carry out the project and ensure the quality, as well as the progress of the project. DX01 is considered as the most important digital initiative among 12 projects of Gas South in the Digital transformation journey. With the support from Microsoft and FPT Digital, Gas South wishes that TC DATA will try their best to drive our project into success.
Representing the Investor, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luan, General Director of Gas South mentioned: with the expanding operating area all over the countries and the diversity in our business, the Board of Management has been day and night seeking for effective solutions to replace traditional methods of data generating, reporting and managing. The DX01 project aims to quickly, accurately and timely process data, which will help the Company’s Board of Management to make their decisions in a prompt and effective way. Gas South committed to do their best for ourselves and cooperate with other units to together complete DX01 project in the shortest time and most effective way.
Mrs. Phan Tu Quyen, Operation Director of Microsoft Vietnam shared: With our 26 years of experience working in the market of Vietnam, we highly evaluate and recommend TC Data to be project developer for “Data storage & Operation Management Report – 1st stage” project of Gas South. Besides that, Microsoft Viet Nam promised to cooperate and accomplish Gas South and TC Data during the implementation process of this project and other digital transformation projects as well.
On the same day, TC Data’s representatives also gave a general project introduction, in which indicated the methods, roadmap and all the advantages that Gas South will receive after completing the project. TC Data guaranteed to use their best workforce and accomplish the project in order to give Gas South valuable, effective and practical solutions.
At the Ceremony, on behalf of the entire employees Gas South’s representatives from all top branches expressed their determination to complete all the assigned tasks with high flying results to ensure the progress and quality of the project.
Both Parties together signed the Project Charter to mark the milestone of Gas South in its digital journey, where the company will receive new opportunities to maximize the efficiency in the database. This will provide the company timely, clear and transparent data to sharpen the management and operation activities, as well as to minimize the risk in the business activities and increase the competitiveness of Gas South brand in the market to ensure the stable development of the Company.
