In this event, activities and contests related to "Gas South Festival" launched by the Company's Trade Union also took place in an exciting atmostphere, the prizes were announced in the excitement and joy of all employees of the Company.

I. “Boundless Creativity” Contest
Boundless Creativity took place from 05 to 15 March, 2021, attracting 77 participants with 124 contest ideas from employees working in all divisions of the Company.
After evaluation, the jury awarded 01 Second prize, 01 Third prize and 05 Consolation prizes (no Special and First prizes) as follows:
1. Second Prize: Mr. Pham Tien Dat - Official of Technical Safety Department, Executive Office.
2. Third Prize: Mr. Le Tran Nguyen Phuong - Driver, Cylinder Branch.
3. 05 Consolation prizes:
- Mr. Dang Thanh Cong - Deputy Director, Cylinder Branch;
- Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - QA-QC Teamleader, Cylinder Branch;
- Mr. Nguyen Mach Hoach - Environment Engineer;
- Mr. Tran Van Nghinh - Deputy Head of Technical Safety Department, Executive Office;
- Mr. Tran Van Thang - Official of Sales Department, Executive Office.
Activities in “Gas South Festival” towards its 21 anniversary are expected to inspire and encourage its employees to innovate and enhance their performance and help developing the Company, improving product quality, building up the Company’s reputation.
II. “Safe Labour Practices - Good for Business” contest
Theory Round

The theory round required contestant show their knowledge of Gas South, its products, occupational safety and health regulations, labor and wages, finance and accounting, construction investment, and so on. With 32 contestants coming from 08 teams of 07 units throughout the Company, including: Executive Office, 05 Branches and VT GAS. The contest was an opportunity for employees to improve their professional knowledge and a platform for exchanging, reviewing, and updating among different unites, contributing to the Company’s development, increasing employee connection for more success in production and business operation.

After more than 3 hours, with high determination of the teams through 3 theory tests and 1 additional test for all fans, the final results are as follows:
1. First Prize: Dong Nai Branch.
2. Second Prize: South Central Branch.
3. Third Prize: Executive Office.
Practice Round
The competition for filling LPG bottles was held at Vung Tau LPG filling station (road 3, Dong Xuyen Industrial Zonw, Rach Dua ward, Vung Tau City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) with 60 contestants from 05 different teams. The contest was an opportunity for employees to improve their professional knowledge and a platform for exchanging, reviewing, and updating among different unites, contributing to the Company’s development, increasing employee connection for more success in production and business operation.

After more than 3 hours with high determination, the teams went through the LPG extraction practice test in different steps, including: check classification, wash bottles, check weights, extract LPG into bottles, etc....
Most of the teams showed good professional and teamworking skills. The results of the competition were as follows:
1. First Prize: VT GAS.
2. Second Prize: South Central Branch.
3. Third Prize: Central Branch.
The contests ended with bright smiles and warm handshakes among employees as they represented a solidarity between the units in Gas South.
