2021 is a difficult, harsh and arduous year because the ongoing waves of the Covid-19 pandemic and its new Delta variant have posed a serious threat to countries. However, these challenges are also opportunities to reinforce the strength, solidarity and cooperation of the whole nation. With that spirit, the trade union of Gas South’s Executive Division always want to join hands and contribute to the whole country’s efforts on overcoming the pandemic.
Promoting the tradition of solidarity, patriotism and supporting each other, "good leaves cover torn leaves", on 21 September 21, 2021, the trade union of Gas South’s Executive Divisionvisited and sent gifts to Mai An Social Protection Facility located at No. 523A Le Duc Tho, Ward 16, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, Mai An facility is taking care of 31 children of different ages. During the recent stressful period, some children were also infected with Covid-19 but fortunately they all recovered.
This year's Mid-Autumn Festival may be different with other years’ when there is sounds of traditional drums or colourful lanterns, but at Mai An Social Protection Facility, there is always a way to celebrate this children's festival in a warm and safe atmosphereThe children still enjoy being together, receiving beautiful gifts, mooncakes, milk and foods which are necessary to overcome this pandemic.
