With the approval of the Party Committee and the Company’s Board of Directors, the Executive Committee of the Southern Gas Youth Union organized the 2017 Youth Union Professional Training Conference at Madagui Tourist Area, Lâm Đồng Province.
The event was attended by Mr. Huỳnh Lâm Kiệt – former Deputy Secretary of the Southern Gas Youth Union, Mr. Trần Văn Huỳnh Long – Secretary of the Youth Union, former Youth Union officials from previous terms, and 106 youth members of Southern Gas.
At the start of the training program, the Executive Committee organized a visit to the Đạ Huoai District Martyrs’ Memorial in Lâm Đồng, marking the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2017).
During this year’s conference, the Southern Gas Youth Union held a seminar titled “The Role of Youth Union Members in the Development of the Residential LPG Retail Sector.” The seminar provided an overview of the Company’s business operations and its retail development strategy for residential LPG. Three real-life case studies related to LPG retail expansion for Horeca customers, agents, and end-users were presented for discussion. Youth Union members actively exchanged ideas, proposed solutions, and engaged in constructive debate. The organizing committee later consolidated the most practical ideas and recommendations to submit to the Company’s management for implementation. The seminar also served as a platform for members to share hands-on experiences in LPG retail operations with their peers.
In addition, the Executive Committee arranged two teambuilding programs (outdoor activities and large-scale team games) at the Madagui Tourist Area. These activities were designed to improve physical fitness, strengthen life skills, enhance teamwork and problem-solving abilities, and foster unity and collaboration among all participants. Following the intensive and practical training sessions, the Committee also hosted a Gala Dinner and campfire night to promote camaraderie and bonding among Southern Gas Youth Union members, encouraging greater enthusiasm and dedication toward achieving the Company’s 2017 business goals.
The 2017 Youth Union Professional Training Conference concluded successfully, leaving lasting impressions and memorable experiences for all participants. The next training conference is eagerly anticipated in 2018.
