During this maintenance period, the company did not hire any foreign contractors — from the preparation of technical documents to the execution of the overhaul. According to preliminary estimates, this approach has saved nearly USD 1 million compared to a previous contract signed with a foreign contractor in 2005.
It is known that the Dinh Cố Gas Processing Plant was invested in, constructed, and put into operation in 1998, with a processing capacity of 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year (approximately 4.3 million cubic meters per day), accounting for around 70% of the market demand. Despite the major maintenance work, thanks to thorough planning, the operation did not affect the overall gas market.
