Upholding the spirit of “mutual support and solidarity” and with the aim of helping stabilize the lives of people affected by recent historic floods, on September 5–6, 2017, PV Gas South, led by Mr. Đào Hữu Thắng – Deputy Director of the Company, together with representatives of the company’s trade unions and mass organizations, visited the severely affected communities in Mu Cang Chai District (Yen Bai Province) and Muong La District (Son La Province).
During the visit, PV Gas South delivered 150 aid packages with a total value of VND 300 million to families who had suffered great losses from the floods.
Speaking at the handover, Mr. Đào Hữu Thắng expressed his deep sympathy for the human and material losses endured by the people of Mu Cang Chai and Muong La. He conveyed his hope that with the care, encouragement, and support from people across the country, the affected communities would soon overcome their difficulties, recover from the disaster, and stabilize their lives.
On behalf of the local people, Mr. Vũ Văn Suấn – Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Muong La District, and Mr. Lê Ngọc Minh – Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Mu Cang Chai District, extended their sincere gratitude to PV Gas South’s leadership and employees for their timely support and compassion towards flood-affected households.
