On March 14, 2017, PV Gas South held the 2017 Safety – Health – Environment (SHE) Conference to evaluate achievements, identify issues, analyze causes and lessons learned, and set objectives and directions for SHE management in the coming period. The event also aimed to motivate and encourage all employees to continue building on achievements and strive to exceed the business and production targets of the Company in 2017.

The conference was attended by representatives from PV Gas Corporation, including Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Nghị – Deputy General Director, Mr. Hồ Diên Vượng – Head of Safety, Health, and Environment Department, as well as leaders from affiliated units; customers including LPG distributors and CNG users of PV Gas South. From PV Gas South, attendees included Mr. Đỗ Tấn – Chairman of the Board, Mr. Vũ Quý Hiệu – Director, Mr. Hoàng Minh Tuân – Chairman of the Trade Union, board members, management, party committee, trade union committee, supervisory board, heads of functional departments, branch leaders, and nearly 100 employees working in SHE and production/business operations.

The gas industry is recognized as a key sector in Vietnam’s industrialization and modernization process, but it also carries high risks of fire and explosion, potentially affecting people, assets, the environment, and national energy security. Therefore, ensuring SHE is always a top priority for PV Gas South. The annual conference serves to summarize this critical work, set directions, prevent and minimize risks, and provide a platform for employees to share experiences, discuss challenges, and propose improvements for better SHE management.
