On July 29, 2016, at the Award Ceremony of the Best Annual Report Voting 2016 organized by Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HSX), Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), and Securities Investment Newspaper, the Annual Report of Southern Gas Trading Joint Stock Company (Ticker: PGS) was announced by the judging panel as one of the Top 50 Best Annual Reports of the market. This marked the fifth consecutive year that PGS has been recognized in the Top 50 Best Annual Reports.
2016 was the 9th year that the Annual Report Voting, co-founded by Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange and Securities Investment Newspaper, was organized. The voting received joint support from the State Securities Commission, Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), IFC, and ACCA, with the aim of promoting transparency, professionalism, and corporate governance in the stock market.
This year’s program was launched in January 2016 with the participation of nearly 600 listed enterprises on both HSX and HNX.
From 267 reports of listed companies on HSX and 325 reports from HNX, the judging panel selected 136 reports with the highest scores (from 68 points and above) to enter the final round, including 48 reports from HNX-listed companies.
This marked the 5th consecutive year that PV Gas South achieved the Top 50 Best Annual Reports title. With this result, PV Gas South has demonstrated transparency in information disclosure, as well as respect for PGS’s shareholders and investors.
