Specifically, crude oil output reached 16 million tons, equal to 100% of the plan registered with the Government and 101% of the Government’s assigned plan (15.86 million tons – an excess of 0.14 million tons).
It is estimated that by the end of 2009, PetroVietnam will have produced 16.3 million tons, equal to 103% of the plan (exceeding the Government’s target by 440,000 tons).
According to PetroVietnam, the oil production results achieved in 2009 made an important contribution to exceeding the Group’s 2009 financial targets.
Industrial production value increased by 24% compared to the same period in 2008 (while the national industrial average rose 7.6% over the same period). Total revenue reached 265 trillion VND, equal to 125% of the annual plan; contributions to the state budget were 91 trillion VND, equal to 148% of the plan.
The Group’s export turnover (including the value of crude oil supplied to the Dung Quat Refinery) reached USD 7.82 billion, equal to 134% of the annual plan.
