On the morning of May 18, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City, the opening ceremony of the GAS SOUTH 2023 online running tournament was held for the first time by the Trade Union - Youth Union of Gas South Joint Stock Company (Gas South).
Company leaders participated in the program: Mr. Phan Quoc Nghia - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luan - General Director; Mr. Dao Huu Thang - Deputy General Director. On the side of the Gas South Trade Union were Mr. Dang Van Vinh - Chairman of the Trade Union, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union. On the side of Gas South Youth Union was Mr. Tran Van Thang - Secretary of the Youth Union, along with the participation of many athletes (athletes) who are officials and employees of the Executive Division.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dang Van Vinh - Deputy General Director, Chairman of Gas South Trade Union, shared: This is the first time the Trade Union and the Gas South Youth Union have organized an online running tournament with the desire to create a playground for health training and improve the physical life of Gas South employees. We hope that the movement of running for fitness will not only be carried out during the tournament but will continue to be maintained after the tournament. The success of the GAS SOUTH 2023 Online Running Tournament will be a premise for Gas South to organize the next Runs, scheduled to be held twice a year.

The online running tournament GAS SOUTH 2023 has attracted the participation of 171 athletes who are Gas South employees from 07 affiliated units and members.
The daily running results of athletes will be continuously updated on the system https://vietrace365.com.vn/ from May 18, 2023, to May 28, 2023. The organizer will compile and publish the results of each Run category on https://www.pgs.com.vn.
