The plant has a total investment capital of nearly VND 520 billion and covers an area of 70,000 m². It will be equipped with advanced technology, capable of applying FBE anti-corrosion coating, 3-layer PE/PP coating, and concrete coating for pipes ranging from 6 to 48 inches in diameter, with a capacity of 240 km of coated pipes per year. The plant is expected to be completed in May 2010.
On this occasion, PVID will also sign an agreement on pipe-coating services for the Hai Su Trang – Te Giac Trang gas pipeline project with the Gas Project Management Consultancy Company.
