ANGVA is the Asia-Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Industry Association, headquartered in Malaysia. Since its establishment, ANGVA has shown great efforts in providing consultancy, technical assistance, and promotion for the adoption of natural gas as fuel for transportation in the Asia-Pacific region, contributing to business efficiency, reducing greenhouse effects, and actively protecting the environment.
ANGVA GREEN HIGHWAYS 2009 is a relay parade with flag handovers to promote the use of natural gas as an alternative to energy sources that emit harmful pollutants to the environment and human health. Through the parade, the organizers of ANGVA GREEN HIGHWAYS 2009 call on communities and the NGV (Natural Gas Vehicles) industry in localities along the journey to join in support, contributing to the creation of “Green Highways” in the Asia-Pacific region in the future.
Natural gas has many outstanding advantages compared to other traditional fuels in reducing pollutant emissions. Promoting the use of NGVs in Vietnam aims to build a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful future for the country, saving transportation costs with competitive green energy, contributing to making Vietnam one of the countries popularizing NGVs for sustainable development. This is a program of great significance, encouraging the use of natural gas in transportation to help reduce emissions and protect the environment.
