According to statistics, among about 80 gas trading enterprises nationwide, only 60 have brands and registered trademarks for their gas cylinders. The rest of the cylinders on the market are counterfeit brands and fail to meet quality standards.
The development of the gas trading market has also led to the rise of counterfeit gas trading, illegal gas refilling, as well as unhealthy competitive practices among enterprises. This reflects the fact that the legal framework regulating and managing this business sector remains incomplete.
Inspections have revealed that most gas agents and retailers currently lack legal knowledge and show little responsibility in fulfilling legal obligations regarding measurement standards and product labeling. As a result, the situation of trading gas with insufficient quantities and incomplete labeling has not been effectively addressed or brought into compliance with regulations.
