On the occasion of International Children's Day, June 1, 2018, the Trade Union of PV Gas South (Southern Gas Trading Joint Stock Company) visited, encouraged, and gave gifts to orphans and children with disabilities at the Ky Quang II Buddhist Social Charity Center – 154/4A Le Hoang Phai Street – Ward 17 – Go Vap District – Ho Chi Minh City, a facility that nurtures and provides vocational training to 215 orphans and disabled children with no family support.
The Company’s Trade Union offered gifts including cakes, candies, diapers, milk, rice, and a monetary donation from the Company’s Trade Union to the children at Ky Quang II Pagoda, aiming to express the love and care of the Company’s staff toward the children, as well as to contribute to the ongoing support for the facility where the children are being raised.
After the gift-giving ceremony, representatives of Ky Quang II Pagoda expressed their gratitude to the Company’s leadership and staff for their care and material and spiritual encouragement to the children and the orphanage-vocational center. They also expressed their hope that the Company’s leadership would continue to support Ky Quang II Pagoda in the years to come.
