On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 4, 2015, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) visited and worked with the CNG Vietnam Youth Branch.
Welcoming Ms. Vu Thi Thu Huong, on behalf of the PV Gas Youth Union were Mr. Huynh Do Thanh Khiet – Member of the Standing Committee, Head of Inspection Committee, Head of Organization Committee of the Office Youth Union; Mr. Tran Phu Binh – Deputy Secretary of PVGas South Grassroots Union; Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Ngoc – Secretary of CNG Vietnam Youth Branch, along with other Executive Committee members and union members of the CNG Vietnam Youth Branch.
During the meeting, Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Ngoc presented an overview of the CNG Vietnam Youth Branch and highlighted notable activities such as cycling campaigns for environmental protection, beach cleanup, planting and taking care of trees at gas facilities, signature campaigns committing not to litter, cycling to work every Friday, and cooking and distributing free meals twice a month at Le Loi Hospital – Vung Tau, among other meaningful activities.
In her remarks, Ms. Vu Thi Thu Huong expressed great appreciation and praised the meaningful and practical activities of the CNG Vietnam Youth Branch. These activities contributed to environmental protection, social welfare, and created educational playgrounds for raising awareness among union members and employees of the branch. The PVN Youth Union Secretary hoped that the CNG Youth Branch would continue to promote and expand these youth initiatives to further contribute to the development of CNG Vietnam and PVN as a whole.
At the meeting, PVGas Youth Union representatives presented fresh flowers to congratulate Ms. Vu Thi Thu Huong on being elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Party Committee Member, and Secretary of the Youth Union of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, as well as Mr. Do Anh Tuan on being elected as Deputy Secretary of the PVN Youth Union.
